Will this training ensure you're awarded a cannabis license?
Simply put...no. We are not a city or state regulatory organization with authority over who does or doesn't receive a commercial cannabis license. What we can guarantee is we'll do everything in our power to make sure you're given the latest information based on our network and major announcements, as well as provide assistance in determining equity eligibility, equity applicant verification confirmation, and other pertinent resources to increase your chances of being awarded a commercial cannabis license in your city and state.
Did you know that Blacks are almost four times a likely to be arrested for cannabis than Whites even though the rate of consumption is about equal? Moreover, less than 4% of the industry is owned by Blacks.

How does social equity increase your chances at a license?
Although nothing is guaranteed, your chances increase drastically by applying as a social equity applicant. Most programs are awarding licenses to equity applicants at a rate of 1:1 in comparison to general applicants. That means that 50% of all licenses in areas with social equity programs will be going directly to equity applicants. Los Angeles actually plan to award licenses at a rate of 2:1 in favor of equity applicants once Phase 3 for retail licenses begins.
Below you will find an outline of this training including lessons as they relate to social equity programs in in various cities throughout California and the State of Massachusetts.
